10 Years ago this November (November 15th, 2008) Blizzard Entertainment release their second expansion to the then highly popular World of Warcraft, The Wrath of the Lich King. It’s what most people considered the best of the expansion content (keep in mind Vanilla is a different beast unto itself) and the pinnacle of WoW.
A lot of Wrath of the Lich King’s staying power had to do with its strong offering of endgame content, which was made more accessible than ever before, catapulting the general playerbase into activities they had never experienced. It also brought in more elements of character customization like the rune system and expanded upon concepts introduced in Burning Crusade like badges: where you could slowly work your way toward specific desired pieces of endgame gear. It pretty much satisfied every tier of player.
Now come join us in our recreation of the best wow had to offer with very few tweaks to what made this an already great expansion. The Classes, Quests, and Epic storylines await you in a slightly speedup form (1.5x XP rate, 2x on weekends)
